Fund Raising For Children growing up in Indian slums

Education and food are two of the most pressing issues that children living in slums in India face. According to a report, slums in India have a low educational level, with slightly more than half of the children attending school. Slum children also have a significant over-age and dropout rate, with late enrollment being a common cause of overage. Financial difficulties are also a primary reason why children do not receive a basic education.

To address this issue, the Indian government has launched several programs to raise the educational levels of the urban poor., which aims to provide free and compulsory education to all children between the ages of 6 and 14.

It is essential to recognize that education and food security are fundamental human rights, and every child deserves access to them. While there are several organizations and government programs working to address these issues, there is still much work to be done. We can all play a role in supporting these efforts by donating to organizations that work to improve the lives of children living in slums in India.
